See IrisBG in a live demo

A demo is a free 60-minute Zoom call. We walk you through IrisBG, and you ask whatever you need to ask about it. Pick a time that suits you in the calendar below, and we will meet you there.

What we cover

What a demo covers

Three things. Bring your questions about any of them.

  • A live walkthrough of IrisBG

A guided tour of the software itself: accessions, taxonomy, items and the main screens you would be working in. You can read the full feature list first if you would rather arrive with specific questions.

  • Mapping and Garden Explorer

Mapping your living collection, and publishing it online for visitors and researchers with Garden Explorer.

  • Pricing, modules and migration

The practical questions: what it costs (pricing), which add-on modules and configuration suit your garden, how the free 60-day trial works, and what is involved in moving your records off spreadsheets or another system.

Who you will meet

A person, not a queue

IrisBG is a small team, so you are booking time with one of the people who runs it.

Shanna T. Jones

Shanna T. Jones

Social Media & Community Outreach Assistant

The booking calendar below is Shanna’s, so the slot you pick is a time in her own diary rather than a request that goes into a queue.

shanna@irisbg.com

You can meet the rest of the team on our about page.

After the demo

If you want to take it further, there are two routes and you can use either or both:

Already an IrisBG user with a technical question? A demo is not the right route for that. Please request support instead.

Pick a time

The calendar below shows the times that are open. Pick one and Google Calendar will confirm it by email.

If the booking calendar does not load, or you would rather not use an embedded frame, open the booking page on Google Calendar (opens in a new tab). It is the same calendar. You can also send us an enquiry and we will arrange a time by email.

Not ready to book a time?

You do not have to see a demo first. The trial gives you the whole system to try on your own, and an enquiry reaches the same people.
