Hosting requirements

Running the Garden Explorer

We strongly recommend that we manage the hosting of your Garden Explorer, but you can also run it on your own web server.

Web server and upload requirements
  • Data is uploaded from IrisBG to an internal database on the web server
  • For security reasons there is no connection from the web server to your IrisBG database
  • Our hosting service includes installation of new versions, server upgrades, troubleshooting and server management

What the hosting service covers

The hosting service includes installation of new versions, server upgrades, troubleshooting and server management. For security reasons there is no connection from the web server to your IrisBG database. Hosting costs are listed in our price calculator.

Custom maps in the Garden Explorer

With the Mapping module we provide free web map hosting for one custom map, for you to use in IrisBG or in the Garden Explorer. Additional maps can be hosted at a cost.
